When Bright Home Systems was approached to develop a technical solution for a unique client, it was clear from the outset that this project would demand innovation beyond mere aesthetics. As programmers, installers, and lighting designers, we faced the challenge of creating an adaptive lighting system suitable for medical use in a residential setting. Given the need to balance both medical requirements and daily lifestyle needs, Ketra was the obvious choice.

The challenges faced during the design, installation, and programming phases stemmed from the unique requirements of the lighting system, which only Ketra could provide. The most significant challenge was programming the lighting to offer ease and assistance to a family member with an eye disease.

This required creating a system that could adapt to varying light sensitivities and provide optimal illumination for medical needs. However, the home needed to remain a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for the entire family. We aimed to design a lighting system that was beautiful and functional for everyday use and capable of meeting specific medical requirements seamlessly. Balancing these dual needs demanded innovative thinking and precise programming to ensure that the lighting would enhance the quality of life for all family members.
