Our newest Home Automation Installation project in Calgary is Gloucester, a source of inspiration for everyone involved.
Our client's dream was to build a home for their family, and they bravely took on the role of project manager. This unique approach led to a level of collaboration with each team that is rarely seen on a typical project. The finished result is beyond incredible, and the dedication of each trade is apparent in every corner of the home.
This project features a custom-designed Lutron Homeworks lighting control system. In collaboration with the lighting design team, this system ensures that each home feature is showcased in the best light. The custom engravings and tailored lighting scenes provide the perfect amount of light at any time of the day and enhance the home's ambiance, including during a ‘Midnight Snack’ run.
This home also features a dedicated media room that is designed to provide a theatre-like experience. It includes a high-definition projector, a fixed projection screen, and a robust 7.1 surround sound system. To maintain the aesthetic goals for our client, in-wall speakers were placed behind the projection screen. An audio passthrough screen was installed to minimize ceiling clutter and provide ample sound for family movie night. A Control4 system ensures smooth control for each piece of equipment in this space.
Carefully placed speakers throughout the home were designed with atmospheric listening in mind. Each audio zone in the house was perfectly tailored with custom acoustic feedback, as is standard with all of our audio installations. The music is controlled throughout the home with the Sonos system, which is not only easy to use but also provides a seamless and enjoyable music experience.
